berimbau is almost like a holy instrument in capoeira. it is the one that gives permission for “o jogo”, dictates the rhythm of the two “jogadores” inside the roda. and yet it is so simple in its parts (wooden stick, car tyre wire, pumpkin, a rock and a stick). 🙂
